CODY ANDREW McELROY
DOTHAN…Cody Andrew McElroy, a resident of Dothan, AL, passed away Saturday afternoon, September 11, 2021, at his home. He was 33.
A Celebration of Life service will be announced by the family at a later date.
Mr. McElroy was born in Dothan, Alabama and lived his entire life there. He was a 2006 Graduate of Rehobeth High School. He was a member of the Memphis Baptist Church.
The name Cody is defined as Helpful, and if you truly knew Cody, that is what he was. He was kind, thoughtful and selfless. He would jump at any opportunity to help anyone, at any time, in any situation. Cody enjoyed playing pool, fishing, camping, and racing anything with wheels. More than anything, he loved spending time with his son Braxton, his family, and his friends.
Cody was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William E. McElroy and Dora Mae Stamey; and his maternal grandparents, Wilton Bill Marshall and Mildred F. Marshall.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his son, Braxton A. McElroy; his mother and father, William E. & Pamela A. McElroy, and his brother, Bill McElroy all of Dothan, AL.
