OZARK, AL… Hattie Retha Dossett, a resident of Ozark, Alabama, passed away Wednesday morning, December 8, 2021, at her home. She was 88.
No services are scheduled at this time. A private burial will take place at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Headland, AL. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Hattie Dossett was born May 6, 1933, to the late William Talmadge Hutto and Hattie Roberts Hutto. She resided in Ozark, AL for the past 10 years and prior to that, Newton, AL. She had worked in the manufacturing industry with Sony Dothan manufacturing VCR Tapes. Ms. Hattie was a member of Pilgrim Home Baptist Church near Wicksburg, AL.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John W. Dossett; her sons, William M. Dossett and John P. Dossett; her son-in-law, B. J. Clenny; her sister, Pat Hutto; her brothers, James Hutto, Lester Hutto, Jack Hutto and Billy Hutto.
Leaving to cherish her memory is her daughter, Deborah Dossett Clenny; and four grandchildren, John Espy Kennedy, Chasity Duke, Megan Clenny, and Michelle Brown.
