HENRY LEE McNEALY

ABBEVILLE, AL… Henry Lee McNealy, a resident of Abbeville, Alabama, passed away Saturday morning, December 11, 2021, at his home. He was 81.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 17, 2021, at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel with Reverend Walter Pogue officiating and Reverend Eddie Baker will be doing the eulogy . Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church near Bakerhill, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Friday prior to the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. McNealy was born in Henry County, near Abbeville, Alabama, to the late Cleveland McNealy and Annie Bell Kelly McNealy. Mr. Henry lived around Abbeville, Alabama his entire life. He retired from Georgia-Pacific as finishing and shipping support personnel. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Deeleen Chapman.

Leaving to cherish his memories is his wife, Margaret McNealy; his son James McNealy and Jeffery McNealy (Sabrina); his sisters, Effie Grimsley, Moree Lawrence, and Annie Lee Mack (Eddie), his six grandchildren; his three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Serving as active pallbearers will be family and friends.
