BARBARA ANN JONES

DOTHAN… Barbara Ann Jones, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025, at a Dothan hospital. She was 70.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel with Reverend James Truitt officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 P.M. prior to the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

Ms. Jones was born in Abbeville, Alabama to the late Roy Martin and Marion Delois Martin Spann. She lived her childhood in the Abbeville, Alabama area, but most of her adult life was lived in Dothan, Alabama. She retired from Fain Elementary School as a custodian after several years. She was a member First Baptist Church of Dothan. She loved her family dearly.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her grandson, Garyoun Fluellen.

Leaving to cherish her memories, is her daughter, LaTonya Neal (John, Jr.); her sons, Bobby Fluellen, Tyrone Fluellen, Maurice Fluellen, Eric Fluellen, and Chris Fluellen; her sisters, Brenda Kincey (Walter), Annie Spann, and Shirley Chitty; her brother, Willie Spann (Gwen); her thirteen grandchildren; her eleven great-grandchildren; her several nieces and nephews; and her extended family and friends.
