HEADLAND, AL… Beryl G. Higgins, a resident of Headland, Alabama, passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 5, 2022, at a Dothan hospital. She was 87.
No services are planned at this time.
Ms. Higgins was born in Bodicote, England to the late George Hutchinson and Phylis Ryman Hutchinson. She lived there until she married and moved to the United States. She had previously lived in Elverson, Pennsylvania and Brooksville, Florida before moving to Headland, Alabama seven years ago. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved flowers, which gave her an ambition to be a florist.
Leaving to cherish her memories is her daughter, Debra Kimble (Allan); her sons, Gene Maynard (Cindy) and Phillip Maynard (Sherry); her grandchildren, Amanda Dodson (Justin), Allison Batts (Bill), Amber Smith (John Coleman), Ashley Maynard, Rachael Morffi (Adrian), Cameron Maynard (Michelle), Calahan Maynard (Ashley), and Sierra Sittig (Conor); and 17 great-grandchildren.
