ABBEVILLE……Charles Brown, a resident of Abbeville, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026. He was 54.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Monday, April 06, 2026 at Wright Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Pastor Jack McCrary officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Charles Brown was born to the late Tom Elliott Murry and Lilly Brown. He was employed as a farmer most of his life.

Leaving to cherish his memories are his wife, Gale Brown; two sons, Charles Walker and Christopher Walker; grandchildren, Paisley Walker, Londyn Walker and Paxton Walker; sisters, Sherrye Brown, Annie Woodley, Desiree Reynolds, Tamara Sewell, Ebony Lampkin, Joy Alford, Kimberlyn Alford; brothers, Drue Fontain, Craig Sewell, Reggie Sewell, Michael Brown, Derrick Morris; grandmother, Mary Murrey; mother-in-law, Mildred Corbitt; other loving family members and friends.
