CHRISTY DIANE FULTON

DOTHAN… Christy Diane Fulton, a resident of Dothan, Alabama passed away early Monday morning, August 31, 2026, at her home. She was 61.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 05, 2026, at Wright Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel. Services will be conducted by Brother Mike Railey. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

Christy was born on November 26, 1964, to the late Roy Paul Altman, Sr. and Lavania Story Altman. She attended LaBelle High School in Florida.

Christy was a woman who found happiness in the things that mattered most—family, love, laughter, and making memories. She had a special love for cooking and took great joy in preparing meals for the people she loved. She enjoyed spending time in her garden, growing beautiful flowers and vegetables. She loved decorating, traveling, going on vacations, and creating a warm and welcoming home. But above all else, Christy loved her family. There was nowhere she would rather be than surrounded by the people she loved.

Christy was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Johnathan Fulton. She was a loving and proud mother to her two sons, Jerry Brannon (Jessica) and John Altman (Robin). Her grandchildren, Kyle and Wyatt Brannon, Ansleigh, Cole, Preston, and Parker Altman, brought her immeasurable joy and filled her heart with love. She absolutely adored her great-grandchildren, Ryder, Ryleigh, and Oliver, who were among her greatest treasures. Her family was the center of her world, and the love she shared with each of them will forever remain in their hearts.

Christy is also survived by her brothers, Danny Scott (Cheri) and Brad Selvage (Janet); her best friend, Cheri Somers; her sister-in-law, Rebecca Railey (Mike); and many other family members and friends whose lives were touched by her love.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Paul Altman, Sr. and Lavania Story Altman; and her brothers, Paul, Donald, and Terry.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Christy’s devoted caregivers, Cheri, Ansleigh, Johnathan, and Jerry, for the countless acts of love, kindness, comfort, and care they gave her. Their devotion meant more than words can express.

Christy’s life was a gift to all who knew her. Her love will remain in the hearts of her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends. Though her time here was far too short, the memories she created and the love she gave will never be forgotten.

She may no longer be with us in person, but she will continue to live on through every family gathering, every recipe shared, every flower that blooms, and every memory made.

If love could have saved her, she would still be here.

Until we meet again, Christy, you will be deeply loved, forever missed, and always remembered.
