CINDY MAE WILLIAMS

HEADLAND… Cindy Mae Williams, a resident of Headland, Alabama, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024, at Dale Medical Center. She was 79.

          Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Jackson Chapel Church with Pastor Eugene Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church sanctuary from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements. 

          Mrs. Williams was born in Abbeville, Alabama to the late Cassie Cullins and Mandy Mae Davis Cullins. She has been retired for several years due to a medical disability. She was a member of the Jackson Chapel Church near Capps, Alabama. 

          Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Saul Williams; her sister, Stella Cullins; and her brother, Angus Lawson.

          Leaving to cherish her memories are her son, Harvey Lee Williams; her sisters, Laura Hinson and Betty Cullins (Willie Grubbs); her brothers, Council Cullins (Dorothy) and Richard Cullins; a special niece, Polly Cullens; her other nieces, Betty January, Danielle Brown, Bridgett Carthorn, Belinda Thomas, and Lizzy Cullins; her nephews, Timothy Cullins (Jhoana), Willy Cullins (Kathy), Jacob Grubbs, Jaylon Grubbs, and James Grubbs.

          The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Ozark Health & Rehabilitation Center for their love and support shown to Mrs. Williams during her transition into her Heavenly life.
