ABBEVILLE… Clifton Gene Phillips, a resident of the Screamer Community near Abbeville, Alabama, passed away early Thursday, February 22, 2024, at his home. He was 59.No services are planned at this time.
Mr. Phillips was born in Ozark, Alabama to the late Gene Otis Phillips and Geraldine McCoy Phillips. He had previously lived in Coffee Springs, AL, Enterprise, AL, Jack, AL, and Hartford, AL, before moving to the Screamer Community of Henry County, near Abbeville, AL six years ago. He was a 1984 graduate of Enterprise High School. He was the manager of Tri-Glass Industries in Daleville, AL, before he was medically retired due to a motorcycle accident.Leaving to cherish his memories are his wife of nineteen years, Phyllis Parrish Phillips; his sons, Justin Phillips (Hali) of Slocomb, AL, and Lance Phillips (Shannon) of Enterprise, AL; his sister, Cindy Smith (Troy) of Petersburg, TN; his brother Mike Phillips (Rose) of Dothan, AL; his grandchildren, Dawson Phillips, Ridge Phillips, Stephanie Phillips, Jaxon Phillips, Sawyer Phillips, and Charlotte Phillips; and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Wynell & Braxton Hussey.
