CLINT LYNN MITCHELL

HEADLAND… Clint Lynn Mitchell, a resident of Headland, Alabama, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024, at his home. He was 44.

The family is planning on having a private memorial service at a later date.

Mr. Mitchell was born in Dothan, Alabama to Pamela Cox Paxton and the late Coy Lynn Mitchell. He attended Northview High School and later graduated from Wallace Community College with an Associate Art Degree. He served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard, where he was trained in triage. Clint worked as a phlebotomist until his health declined and he had to medically retire. He had previously lived in Bellingham, Washington and Dothan, Alabama before moving to Headland, Alabama four years ago. He loved music, playing the guitar, sketching, poetry, and philosophy. Clint had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. Family was the most important thing to him. Mr. Mitchell was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Dothan. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

Along with his father, he was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bill & Helen Cox and his paternal grandparents, Coy & Jessie Mitchell.

Leaving to cherish his memories are his son, Camden Pearson Mitchell; his mother, Pam Cox Paxton (James); his sister, Jeslen Mitchell Morehead (Samuel); his niece, Gates Carver; and his nephew, Hayes Carver.
