Henry Lee Stone

NEWVILLE… Henry Lee Stone, a resident of Newville, Alabama, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025, at a hospital in Dothan. He was 59 years old.

Born in Swainsboro, Georgia, Henry was the son of the late Curtis Stone, Sr. and Yvonne Callaway. After graduating high school, he worked for many years as a dedicated warehouse manager. Henry found joy in life’s simple pleasures—fishing, boating, and bike riding—but his greatest happiness came from spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by a son, Nelson Lee Stone; grandchildren, Marcus Eggleston, Amiene Castro, Shakina Stone, Deyonce Lissone, Sevin Lissone; brothers, Kevin Stone and Curtis Stone, Jr.; a sister, Carolesia Stone.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Stone; his children: April Wynns, Amber Wynns, Gwendolyn Stone, Henry Stone, Jr., Isaiah Stone, Roebeccalynn Lissone, Wayne Everitt, Jr. (Marlene), Sande Castro, Gloria Condrey (Bernard), Kerrisue Barthol, Chastity Freeman, Veronica Peryear; brother, Leonard Stone; sister, Angela Stone; along with twenty-eight grandchildren and twenty five great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind several cousins, nieces, nephews, and many other cherished family members and friends.

Henry’s warmth, laughter, and love for his family will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
