HEADLAND, AL… Jane Jarvis Nowell, a resident of Headland, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at a Dothan Hospital. She was 74.
No services are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gateway Church in Headland, Alabama.
Jane Jarvis Nowell was born August 14, 1947, in Dothan, Alabama to the late Wilburn Jarvis and Johnnie Elmore Jarvis. She was raised in Kinsey and moved to Headland in her teenage years. She attended Headland High School. She was a member of Gateway Church in Headland, Alabama. She married Rex Nowell December 10, 1962, and they were blessed with three children. She spent most of her time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, which she loved to do the most.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandchild Fletcher Rex Nowell.
Leaving to cherish her memories are her husband, Howard Rex Nowell of Headland; children, Douglas Rex Nowell, Dale Smith (Paul) and Chad J. Nowell; grandchildren, Rexanna Benton (Joshua) of Headland, Ty A. Smith of Headland, Tori Harrison (Brock) of Dothan, Chasidy Nowell of Headland; great grandchildren, Skyler Merritt, Shali Merritt, Jerion Benton, Everleigh Harrison, Eli Harrison, Bre’Ella Nowell, Jordan Fields, Trevin Fields; numerous friends and loved ones.
