ABBEVILLE, AL…Jeffrey Brian Hughes, a resident of Abbeville, Alabama passed away Monday July 18, 2022, at his home. He was 55.
Mr. Hughes was born April 03, 1967, in Camilla, Georgia. He grew up in Georgia with his parents, Luther Wendell Whittle, and Dianna Beall. After high school, he served in the United States Army for four years. He was also employed as a contractor in the residential home building business. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was known frequently by those who knew him as “the life of the party.” His hobbies included cooking, fishing, and singing. He enjoyed Karaoke and won multiple competitions. He loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren.
Mr. Hughes is preceded in death by his parents.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his children, Alexandra Hughes of Anniston, Alabama and Patrick Gilbert of Talladega, Alabama; grandchildren Hally Ann Isadora Gilbert, Evelynn Kaye Hughes, Braylen Scott Horn, and Keyra Ann Kiker; caregiver and neighbor Chris Goings; other loving family members and his canine companion Bailey.
