KEVIN BARRY “K.B.” SMOTHERS

HEADLAND, AL…  Kevin Barry “K.B.” Smothers, a resident of Headland, Alabama, passed away Monday, August 7, 2023, at Dothan Hospital. He was 60.

          The family is going to have a private Celebration of Life service at a later date.

          Mr. Smothers was born in Stuttgart, Germany to the late George Wade Smothers and Sheila Ruth Jackson Smothers. He served his country in the U.S. Army as an Army Medic and after graduating LPN Nursing school in the Army, he returned home to Headland, Alabama where he has lived for the past 32 years.

          Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Terry Smothers and his grandchild, William Smothers.

          Leaving to cherish his memories are his wife, Shelley Shiley Smothers; his daughter, Harli Lancaster; his sons, Kyle Smothers and Jack Smothers; his sisters, Laurie Roney (John) and Sheila Cruz; his brother, Gary Smothers; his grandchildren Bellatrix Lancaster and Alaura Smothers; his several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
