MIDLAND CITY, AL… Lee Allen “BeBo” Woodham, a resident of Midland City, Alabama, passed away Thursday morning, November 30, 2023, at a Dothan hospital. He was 82.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Blackwood Church with Reverend Jonathan Tomlin and his son, Reverend Dana Allen Woodham officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church sanctuary one hour prior to the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Blackwood Church, c/o Janice Green 155 Sweetwater Drive, Headland, Alabama 36345.
Mr. Lee Allen Woodham was born in Henry County, Alabama to the late Edward J. Woodham and Vanarah Louise Tew Woodham. He lived his young life in Dale County, Alabama near Midland City. He was a 1959 graduate of Midland City High School. Formerly employed as a mechanic at Midland City Auto. In his earlier years, he was engaged in farming. In his later years and most of his life he lived in the Blackwood Community. He was a member of the Blackwood church where he served as a Sunday school teacher for the Senior Adults.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Pauline Jenkins Woodham; and his brother, Kenneth Earl Woodham.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his daughter, Shana Paige Woodham Marshall (Joe); his sons, Reverend Dana Allen Woodham (Taresa) and Theron Lee “Scoot” Woodham; his brothers, Mac Woodham (Glenda) and Roger Woodham (Emilie); his grandchildren, Damon Lee Woodham (Chanetta), Madison Allen Woodham, Kenneth Lee Woodham, Joe Allen Woodham, Jesse Aaron Beasley (Wendie), Raegan Marshall Chumney (Zach), Lindsey Marshall Sullivan (Tyler), and Joanna Kathryn Marshall; his six great-grandchildren; a special friend, Mary Coker; and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Damon Woodham, Kenneth Woodham, Madison Woodham, Jesse Beasley, Joe Woodham, Todd Woodham, Paul McQueen, Jim McQueen, Zach Chumney, Tyler Sullivan and Mike Thompson.
