DOTHAN… Linda McClendon, a resident of Dothan, Alabama passed away Wednesday evening, August 26, 2026, at Extendicare Health & Rehabilitation. She was 83.

No services are planned at this time.

Mrs. McClendon was born in Headland, Alabama to the late Luther Ward and Lettie Mae Davis Ward. She had previously lived in Daleville, Alabama before moving to Dothan, Alabama about six years ago. She was a member of the Tolbert Baptist Church in Headland, Alabama.

Along with her parents, she preceded in death by her husband, Albert McClendon; and her sister, Anita D. McCoy and her husband, Fred Malcolm McCoy.

Leaving to cherish her memories are her nephews, Rodney McCoy (Pam) of Dothan, AL, and Mike McCoy (Wendy) of Newville, AL; and by her nieces, nephews, and cousins.
