LORENE LAIRMORE

WEBB, AL… Lorene Lairmore, a resident of Webb, Alabama, passed away Wednesday evening, August 17, 2022, at her home. She was 94.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 21, 2022, at Webb Baptist Church with Reverend Danny Sumerlin officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at the church.  Wright Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Webb Baptist Church, 310 Wallace Buie Road, Webb, Alabama 36376 or to the Webb Senior Center, 4095 Enon Road, Webb, Alabama 36376.

Mrs. Lairmore was born in Hartford, Alabama, to the late Rufus Forshee and Cleo Smith Forshee. She was employed at Dothan Manufacturing Warehouse as a supervisor. She was a member of the Webb Baptist Church. She enjoyed being a part of the Webb Senior Center.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Zack Lairmore; her two sisters, Janice Prichett (Rob) and Ruby Mae Brooks (Hubert), her three brothers, L.Z. Forshee (Opal), Gene Forshee (Emma Jean), and Ned Forshee; and her daughter-in-law, Gladys Mack.

Leaving to cherish her memories are her son, Tommy Lairmore; her grandson, Tommy Lairmore, Jr (Jennifer); her two great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Ruth Forshee; a special nephew, Lamar Brooks (Janet); several other nieces and nephews and loving family members and friends.
