FRANCES LORETTA HARRISON JENKINS

SNELLVILLE, GA… Frances Loretta Harrison Jenkins, a resident of Snellville, Georgia, passed away Thursday morning, December 18, 2025, at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle, Georgia. She was 68.

Funeral services will be held 2:30 P.M. Monday, December 22, 2025, at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel with Dr. Cecil M. Sanders, Jr. officiating. A eulogy will be given by her nephew, Wayne Parmer. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Headland, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 P.M. prior to the service. The family ask that if you will please wear something pink in color, or to add a pink ribbon, in remembrance of Mrs. Jenkins. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Jenkins was born in Dothan, Alabama to the late Ralph Harrison and Frances Hodges Harrison Trawick. She lived in Headland, Alabama until she moved to Snellville, Georgia in the early eighties. She helped her husband with the family business (Jenkins Masonry of Georgia, Inc.). Her favorite job was being a stay-at-home mom, which she loved very much. She loved her family and loved taking care of them. The apples of her eyes were her grandchildren, that she truly loved and adored.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Allen Jenkins; her granddaughter, Madison Michelle Strickland; her brothers, Harold Harrison, Kenneth Harrison, and Rex Harrison; and her sister, Shirley Harrison Thomas Williams.

Leaving to cherish her memories are her daughters, Amy Kay Strickland (Tim), Emily Michelle Helms (Jake), and Brittany Elizabeth Roark (Brandon); her son, Mitchell Allen Jenkins, Jr. (Rebekah); her sisters, Patricia Woodham and Pam Wright; her sisters-in-law, Billie Ann Senn, Margaret Jenkins, and Debra Kowal (Jeffrey); her brother-in-law, David Jenkins (Karen); her grandchildren, Savannah Kay Gilleland (Aaron), Timothy Dalton Strickland, Logan Douglas Strickland, Jacqueline Michelle Helms, Jacob Stewart Helms (Emma), Jayden Elizabeth Helms, Jared Mitchell Helms, Mitchell Allen Jenkins, III, Brody James Jenkins, Emerson Jane Jenkins, Brandon Austin Roark, Jr., and Levi Allen Roark; her greatgrandchildren on the way, Scarlett Kay Gilleland and Baby Helms; and her several nieces and nephews.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Mitchell Allen Jenkins, Jr., Mitchell Allen Jenkins, III, Timothy Douglas Strickland, Timothy Dalton Strickland, Logan Douglas Strickland, Jacob Stewart Helms, Jacob Stewart Helms, II, Jared Mitchell Helms, and Brandon Austin Roark. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Brody James Jenkins, Brandon Austin Roark, Jr., and Levi Allen Roark.
