ABBEVILLE… Lyle Lomaneck, a resident of Abbeville, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at a Dothan hospital. He was 65.

Mr. Lomaneck was born in Abbeville, Alabama to the late Jesse C. Lomaneck and Frances McKee Lomaneck. He lived his entire life in the Abbeville, Alabama area. He attended Abbeville High School. He had various jobs in his life, his last was working with J.P. Champion Farms. Lyle was a character, and he was known for being a person who when his name was mentioned, it gave you a smile.

Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Sara Nell Lomaneck and Eloise Williamson; and her brothers, Harvey Frank Lomaneck, Arthur Lomaneck, Benny Lomaneck, and Howard Lomaneck; and his brothers-in-law, Don Altman and Paul Altman.

Leaving to cherish his memories are his son, Christopher Lomaneck (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Kayla & Lewis Lomaneck; his sisters, Nadine Altman, Ethel Fulton (John), Jessie Altman, and Wanda Crutchfield; his brother-in-law, Shirley Williamson; and his several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
