DOTHAN, AL… Madie Russ, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away Thursday morning, December 22, 2022, at her home. She was 68.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Russ was born in Cottonwood, Alabama to the late Roscoe Wilson and Ollie Mae Peterson Wilson. She was a homemaker.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Evans Russ; and her daughter, Jennifer Russ.
Leaving to cherish her memories is her caregiver, Staci Ervin; her daughter, Belisha Taylor; her sons, Reginald Russ and Evans Russ, Jr.; her sisters, Annie Ruth, Dora Gene, Judy Miller, and Adel Morris; her brothers, William Wilson and Willie C. Wilson; her several grandchildren; her several great-grandchildren; and her several nieces and nephews.
