MARY “CHARLOTTE” MCCLENNY DEAN

HEADLAND… Mary “Charlotte” McClenny Dean, a resident of Headland, Alabama passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2024, at Henry County Health & Rehabilitation. She was 77.

 Honoring Charlotte’s wishes, there will be no services.

 Ms. Dean was born in Henry County, Alabama to the late Curtis Jackson McClenny and Beatrice Whatley McClenny. She lived in the Headland, Alabama area her whole life. Charlotte was a 1966 graduate of Headland High School.

 Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Peggy Steel and Martha Kuhl; and her brothers, Jimmy McClenny, Billy McClenny, Paul McClenny, and Tommy McClenny.

 Leaving to cherish her memories is her daughters, Phoebe Butler (Tim) and Jennifer Dean; her sister, Sara Casey (Billy); her brother, Robert McClenny; her granddaughter, Ellie Adams; her several nieces and nephews; and her loving caregiver, Barbara Coleman Davis.
