MARY “SUSIE” MURPHY
HEADLAND, AL… Mary “Susie” Murphy, a resident of Headland, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021, in a Dothan hospital. She was 66.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 8, 2021 at Gateway Baptist Church with Pastor Ruth Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. before the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory are in charge of the arrangements.
Susie was born in Dothan, Alabama to the late Carl Hodges and Alice Johnson Hodges. She was a member of the Gateway Baptist Church. She loved life to the fullest.
Leaving to cherish her memories is her husband; Lemuel Murphy; her son, Tim Baxter; her sisters, Cathy Hodgson (John), and Lorie Hodges; her brother, Johnny Whitehead; and her grandchildren, Destiny & Serenity Baxter and Jeremy Powers.
