HEADLAND, AL… Maverick JaMun Cushion, infant son of BreAnna Sewell and LaBoris Cushion gained his little precious angel wings Sunday, November 06, 2022 in Birmingham, Alabama. He was 2 months and 13 days old.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 11, 2022, at Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, with Reverend Delvick J. McKay officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, November 11, 2022, from 12:30 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel.
Maverick was born on August 26, 2022, and tried his hardest to stay here on earth with his Mama and Daddy. Jesus saw he was getting tired and told him to come sit on his lap. Jesus said, “if you want, you can stay here with me and I’ll give you wings and you can fly over your Mama and Daddy anytime you want to, and keep them close to your heart”. He agreed, and now has his wings and he is flying with all the other little angels and spying on us all and keeping us close to his heart.
Maverick JaMun Cushion was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Gene and Mary Singleton; and his paternal great-grandparents Clarence and Gloria Reynolds.
Surviving relatives include his parents, BreAnna Sewell and LaBoris Cushion; his grandparents, Lynn Cole, Boris Cushion (Chaka), Faye Reynolds; his great-grandmother Vincie Cushion; his aunt, Madison Graham (Kise); his uncles, Brandon Sewell (Emily), Conner Cole, and Octavius Reynolds; his numerous cousins and other loving family members and friends.
