STEPHEN GUSTAT

EUFAULA… Stephen Gustat, a resident of Eufaula, Alabama, passed away Wednesday morning, June 5, 2024. He was 74.

           Mr. Gustat was born in Lakeland, Florida to the late Paul John Gustat and Merrilou Kunkle Gustat. He was a graduate of Sebring High School, Class of 1967. He is a combat veteran after serving in the United States Army 9^th Infantry including a tour to Vietnam. He attended Troy University where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Mr. Gustat was employed for many years as Chief Private Investigator as well as being employed as a law enforcement agent with Sebring Police Department. Mr. Gustat also taught as a Professor at University of Tampa. 

Surviving relatives include his wife, Sharon Dickens-Patton Gustat; sons, Stephen Gustat II, Sean Gustat and Seth Gustat; sister Leslye Gustat; brothers John Gustat and David Gustat; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family and friends.
