STEPHEN HELMS

ABBEVILLE… Stephen Helms, a resident of Abbeville, Alabama passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at a Dothan hospital. He was 46.

 A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00 P.M. Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the Omussee Creek Park, 75 Picnic Road, Columbia, Alabama. Eulogies will be given by family and friends. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

 Donations may be made to his son, Hayden Helms, whom has health issues, for his future healthcare.

 Mr. Helms was born in Ft. Gaines, Georgia to the late Sam Curtis Helms and Georgia Ann Harrell Helms. He attended Abbeville High School. He was a residential and commercial painter until he had to retire to take care of his son, whom had disabling health issues. 

 Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Brooklyn Helms.

 Leaving to cherish his memories are his son, Hayden Helms; his brothers, Conrad Helms and Jeremy Helms; the mother of his children, Brenda “Brynn” Hicks (Brandon) and Kasey Helms.
