ABBEVILLE . Veronica Joy Ormsby, a resident of Wills Crossroad Community of Abbeville, passed away Tuesday morning, January 14th, 2020 at her home. She was 57.
Keeping with Veronicas wishes, the family has chosen a simple cremation.
Ms. Ormsby was born in Camden, New Jersey to the late Walter Blackniak and Veronica Joy Ormsby. She lived various places through out her life, until moving to the Wills Crossroad Community of Abbeville four years ago.
Contributions may be made in Veronicas honor, to the American Cancer Society, 1100 Ireland Way, Birmingham, AL 35205.
Leaving to cherish her memories are her daughter, Shannon Dare Eugley (Dustin) of Summerville, SC; her sisters, Lori Bonner, Nan Brown (Ronnie), and Dawn Jones (Noel Vanlandingham) all of Abbeville; her grandchildren, Brody and Rylan Eugley, of Summerville, SC; her step-brothers & step-sisters, Wayne (Mary Ann), Gene (Teresa), Jeff (Dot), Paul (Stacey), Eddie, Anna (Keith), and Lisa (Mike); several nieces and nephews.
