VIRGINIA “GINA” MARIE JACKSON

NEWVILLE… Virginia “Gina” Marie Jackson, a resident of the Tumbleton Community, in Newville, Alabama, passed away early Friday morning, July 25, 2025, at a Dothan hospital. She was 68.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel, with Reverend Joey Hudspeth officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Headland, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. prior to the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Jackson was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Bruce Campbell and the late Betty Martin Campbell. She lived in several places around the world, with her father being in the military. She settled in the Tumbleton Community after marrying her husband, Mike Jackson, over thirty-five years ago. She loved gardening and her flowers. She had a passion for fishing. She was a huge Auburn fan. Gina had a huge heart for animals and had rescued several. Her whole life evolved around her family, that she loved so much.

Leaving to cherish her memories is her husband, Mike Jackson; her daughter, Tiffany Blackwell (Chad); her son, Tony Raybon (Fran); her sister, Tina Carmona (Rick); her brother, Ed Campbell (Miumi); her special uncle & aunt, Butch and Connie Martin; her grandchildren, Alyssa Ham, Triston Raybon, Lexi Williams, Caleb Mares, and Addyson Peterson; her great-grandchildren, Walker King, Kingsley Raybon, Axel Raybon, and Kayne Raybon; and her canine companion, Jake.
